THE LANGUAGE MAGICIAN evaluates how well children are able to read, write and understand foreign languages in a playful way. The languages tested are English, German, Spanish and Italian as a foreign language (French will be included by 2018 as well). The exciting story about the evil magician Winivil, who turns farm animals into doorknockers, makes assessment a magical adventure. Language tasks become playful quests.
Charmingly illustrated and with the expertise of ten outstanding partners THE LANGUAGE MAGICIAN is a contemporary tool for modern schools. Led by the Goethe-Institute London, these partners contribute to the project: Department of Education of the Spanish Embassy in London, the Ministries of Education in the autonomous regions Rioja and Tenerife, Westminster and Leipzig University and University of Reading, the Universities for Foreigners Siena and Perugia and the Language Teachers' Association in the UK (ALL).
